My name is Jacob Marquez, and I am a Hispanic filmmaker from Houston. I received my Associate of Art from Lonestar College Tomball and  recently graduated from TXST University with my Bachelor's in Film in May of 2025!

I began my academic journey by pursuing a degree in Aerospace Engineering, but a year into school I decided to pursue my dream of filmmaking. I was heavily inspired by the films my parents showed me growing up, 80s-90s coming of age, horror, and action as well as growing up alongside the extreme growth of Youtube and content creation.

I currently live in Austin, TX and consider myself an editor more than anything. I enjoy working with directors to take the final step. I strongly believe that the film is fully realized in the editing room and I love helping director's see the film they have always imagined.
